Job Description
Ballard Spahr’s Business and Transactions Department is seeking an Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join our Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group in our Philadelphia office. Candidates should have an interest in working with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and other applicable employee benefits laws on matters involving executive compensation, qualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefits. Superior academic credentials and strong writing skills are required. Relevant government experience is preferred. An active bar license in Pennsylvania is required.
Our Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group has a national and regional practice advising public and private companies, churches and other nonprofit organizations and governmental entities. Our clients range from large multinational corporations to well-known regional companies and tax-exempt organizations, and include large manufacturers, financial institutions, hospitals, universities and church organizations.
