Associate - Immigration

BakerHostetler’s Columbus office is seeking an Immigration associate with 2–4 years of relevant experience to join its nationally recognized Labor and Employment Group, which is highly ranked by Chambers USA and Best Law Firms. A strong interest and background in employment-based immigration is important.

Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of experience practicing employment-based immigration law, including securing temporary work visas and permanent residency (green card) solutions for foreign nationals
• Experience advising employers on complex I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirements
• Proven experience preparing and filing H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, TN, and O-1 petitions, as well as permanent residence applications, including PERM, I-140, and I-485 matters
• J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Active license to practice law in Ohio
