Our last-mile delivery partners are crucial to our service, and we work closely with them to make sure deliveries large and small get to where they need to be. As a Delivery Partner Manager, you’ll make sure we have the best relationship possible with our partners. You’ll build connections, help them put processes in place for efficient delivery, and smooth out any issues they experience, all with the aim of creating a partnership that’s successful for many years.
Key job responsibilities
Safety: Partnering with Safety and Regional Managers to ensure business safety compliance.
Performance: Guiding owners as they scale their business and manage operational issues, ensuring they have resources in place to effectively ramp-up operations and prepare for peak period.
Performance: Supporting owners as they onboard to the program and prepare to launch (this will be on the basis of a net new launch only).
Performance: Helping business owners to run compliant, safe and high performing companies (SLS metric deep dive).
Identifying workflow inefficiencies and working to formulate and implement operational improvements at the network level and to improve the individual DSP owner experience.
Developing the relationship between Amazon and our DSP partners (DSP sentiment improvements)
Communication alignment to DSP business owners following close collaboration with OTR partners.
Be the voice of the DSP within and represent them within the AMZL business.
Guide and ensure effective upskilling and utilization of tools.
Deep dive to identify customer metric improvement opportunities.
Champion the consistent application of Last Mile processes within Delivery Stations – challenge UTR processes that impact OTR.
Improve driver standards to protect brand image.
A day in the life
You’ll be based at one of our sites. Being on site allows you to stay close to every part of the delivery process and means you have visibility of everything to guide our logistics partners. You’ll look after all elements of our partner relationships, from getting the contracts in place to keeping track of performance.
This role requires regular travel (minimum once per week) across your portfolio of delivery stations, primarily by train and rental car, with all travel expenses fully reimbursed.

We belong to the international DSP Team and as Delivery Partner Managers own the relationship with our Delivery Service Providers in MEU (DE/AT/NL). Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak season
- Experience in data analysis and extracting insights to make data-backed business decisions
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English Preferred Qualifications - Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
