Job Description
Join our dynamic Design and Construction Execution team and become a pivotal part of Amazon's infrastructure expansion across Europe. You'll play a critical role in transforming project concepts into reality, supporting the development of delivery stations and fulfillment centers that power our global logistics network.
This role offers structured learning opportunities while contributing to Amazon's infrastructure expansion.
Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple EU countries and cultures? The role will be based in UK with 50% of time traveling either domestically within the country or to other EMEA countries.
Key job responsibilities
Support end-to-end project delivery from initial concept through final construction
Assist in preparing comprehensive project budgets and detailed schedules
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Maintain meticulous project documentation and tracking systems
Learn and apply best practices in pre-construction and construction processes

Your day will be a blend of strategic planning and hands-on project coordination. You might start by reviewing permit applications, then transition to construction site visits, engaging with contractors, and tracking project milestones. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with data/analytics and using data to make decisions
- Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
- Experience in construction or project management
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of project management tools
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience in construction
- Experience using tools to create, manage, and publish documentation
- Experience in managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment and installations, temperature-controlled environments
- French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.
