About the BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index
The BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index (ticker: EMCLOUD) is a benchmark maintained by Bessemer Venture Partners and Nasdaq that tracks the performance of publicly-traded cloud companies. Constituents are reviewed and rebalanced quarterly, so the exact set of companies shifts over time as new SaaS companies list and older ones consolidate.
The index is a natural companion to the Forbes Cloud 100. Cloud 100 tracks the top private cloud companies; once one goes public, it typically graduates onto EMCLOUD. Together the two lists cover the full public-plus-private lifecycle of cloud/SaaS at scale.
