About the Role We're looking for an exceptional growth marketing generalist who operates at the frontier of AI adoption and thrives on solving high-impact problems. This role is for someone who excels at identifying high-leverage opportunities and building creative solutions that move the business forward. Initially, you'll own the GlossGenius website end-to-end—a critical lever in our product-led growth funnel sitting at the intersection of Product, Design, Marketing, and Engineering. You'll evolve our website vision through AI-powered innovation, rigorous experimentation, and compelling storytelling that resonates with beauty and wellness professionals. As you demonstrate impact, you'll expand into other high-priority growth initiatives where your technical savvy, marketing expertise, and AI fluency unlock the most value. This isn't a role with rigid boundaries—it's an opportunity to shape your scope around the most important problems. You'll report to the VP of Growth Marketing. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters. We default to being in-office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What You'll Do Evolve the vision for the GlossGenius website and create a high-impact quarterly roadmap across paid and non-paid landing pages, CRO experiments, SEO & GEO improvements, analytics enhancements, technical improvements, and stakeholder support Determine how AI should merge with our website strategy—evaluating and implementing AI-powered personalization, chatbots, content generation, testing tools, and emerging technologies Bring our story to life through our website in a way that resonates deeply with beauty and wellness businesses. Design and execute rigorous A/B tests and iterative experiments to optimize critical conversion metrics across the funnel. Monitor and report on website performance, tracking key metrics including website conversion rate, trial starts, and traffic. Project manage execution of all key website priorities, leading a cross-functional team including designers, developers, and analytics lead. Partner with Product, Design, Product Marketing, Engineering, Paid Marketing, Content, Sales, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to improve the web journey from first visit through activation. Identify and pursue the highest-impact growth opportunities across the entire customer lifecycle. Drive strategic initiatives that leverage AI to unlock new growth vectors and competitive advantages. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience driving growth for fast-growing software and internet businesses, with demonstrated ability to identify and execute high-impact initiatives; experience in vertical software/AI or serving beauty/wellness or other service-based SMB customers is a plus Proven track record of moving key business metrics through creative problem-solving, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making Expert knowledge of AI tools and technologies for growth and marketing, with hands-on experience implementing AI-powered solutions (personalization, chatbots, content generation, testing platforms, emerging tools like Lovable, Vercel, etc.) Strong point of view on how AI is reshaping growth marketing and what opportunities it unlocks Deep understanding of growth fundamentals including conversion optimization, funnel analysis, experimentation design, and analytics Exceptional product marketing instincts—ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—comfortable building models, designing experiments, and turning insights into action Nice to have: Experience managing websites and conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs for PLG companies Proficiency with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.), experimentation platforms, and modern CMS platforms like Webflow Technical skills in HTML/CSS or experience with front-end development Benefits & Perks Flexible PTO Competitive health & dental insurance options, with premiums partially or fully covered by GG In-person opportunities that are designed to help team members foster collaboration and build community (ie; working out of a co-working space, team dinners, and other team building activities) Fertility and adoption benefits via Carrot Generous, fully-paid parental leave policy 401k benefit - employees are eligible to contribute starting day 1 of employment Professional Development - employees receive a yearly stipend for approved learning and educational-related expenses Pre-tax commuter benefits Dependent Care FSA Home office support The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $145,000 - $165,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
