Senior Manager - Agency and Enablement, APAC
Location: Sydney
The Opportunity:
The Senior Manager – Agency and Enablement APAC will be responsible for leading all creative/content agency partners in APAC. Sitting within the Regional APAC Marketing team, you will drive successful agency partnerships, working closely with the Corporate agency management team. You’ll manage resource management tracking, content production budgets, performance evaluations, agency QBRs, and implementing training.
This role will also oversee the tools and systems used by APAC to manage content workflows and assets. This role will ensure that Adobe’s APAC marketing organization has access to optimal agency capabilities to consistently deliver performance against their objectives at scale with efficiency and minimal risk.
In addition, this role is accountable for the ongoing ‘customer zero’ testing, feedback and adoption of GenStudio spanning Workfront, Firefly Services, GenStudio for Performance Marketing and AEM across APAC Marketing’s workflows, working with team members, cross-functional partners, and more to adapt Adobe's tools to the team’s needs and drive adoption and usage.
What You’ll Do:
Content Agency Management
• Run the day-to-day operations for Adobe’s APAC agency partners, surfacing recommendations to optimize these relationships and the value delivered to Adobe. Supporting the internal Adobe Marketing team.
• Monitor agency partnership at a portfolio level, seek opportunities to enhance the value of the partnership, remove duplicative efforts, and/or optimize the use of agency resources
• Incorporate industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to agency management
• Actively coordinate the governance and implementation of the agency model in APAC, ensuring our marketing agencies deliver top performance and that the roster is efficient and capable.
• Implement the Corp led ongoing agency performance management plan for APAC, including approaches to QBRs, partnership evaluations, and other performance metrics.
• Lead agency performance discussions on efficiency, SOWs, resourcing, staffing, budgets, and fees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as Finance, Sourcing and Procurement, Marketing Operations Services, and the Office of the CMO for seamless agency partnerships.
Technology Enablement
• Represent APAC within the Interagency Team (IAT) ensuring high-quality work and positive relationships.
• Be the regional marketing champion for Adobe’s content supply chain and how its tools (GenStudio including Workfront, Firefly and AEM Assets) support global content workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functional partners, and product teams to drive tool implementation and build systems that support APAC’s business needs.
• Foster adoption and engagement of these tools among internal teams and agency partners in APAC.
• Led the organization and industry with thought-leadership on the future of the industry and emerging technologies and models.
Evolve localization/Transcreation
• Optimise Adobe’s Global Localisation process working with internal and agency teams to deliver a scalable approach for the future.
What you need to succeed:
• 10+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or Agency Management; in-house and agency experience preferred.
• Experience managing agency/vendor relationships and partnerships with procurement and sourcing teams.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effectively managing relationships at all levels.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity and continuously improve processes.
• Subject Matter Expertise in the content agency landscape and related technology, plus thought leadership on the future of the industry.
